My recent stay at a hostel in a city was not the greatest, but there were a few positives. the location of the hostel was very convenient, with easy access to tram stops and nearby restaurants. Additionally, the shared room I stayed in was quite nice and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Finally, the communal area had comfortable seats where I could relax.
There were a couple of drawbacks as well. The lack of Wi-Fi in the bedrooms was quite frustrating, especially since many people were experiencing the same issue.

I recently stayed at Samesun and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially when I arrived late at night. The location of the hostel was perfect, with plenty of food options nearby and attractions within walking distance. The shared room I stayed in was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I also appreciated the communal kitchen and the communal room with comfortable seating. I would recommend Samesun to other travelers.
Despite the positives, there were a few drawbacks to my stay. The bathrooms on my floor were not well-maintained, and there was only one shower for the entire floor.

When we requested a room change due to noise, they quickly accommodated us and provided a quiet room. The free continental breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of options to choose from. The location of the hostel was perfect, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The luggage room was also a great convenience for storing our belongings even after check-out. I would highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, such as the occasional lack of soap in the women's bathroom and the rooms lacking storage, these did not significantly impact our overall experience. We found the bathrooms clean and well-maintained, and the common spaces provided a good environment for work.

The hostel is located in Kensington Market, a diverse and vibrant neighborhood with plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan dining. The area is known for its amazing food, including bohemian-style restaurants and vintage shops. If you're a fan of street art, you'll love exploring Graffiti Alley, which is just south of the market. The staff at the hostel are friendly and helpful, and there is a self-service laundry facility conveniently located across the street.
Felt right at home, no complaints.

I recently stayed at Samesun in Kensington Market for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The night auditors, Seb and F, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The central location was perfect for exploring the diverse neighborhood with its amazing food, bohemian style, and vintage shops. The separate shower area was a nice touch and the hostel was impressively clean. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, this is the place to be, especially considering the location, which is within walking distance of downtown and close to public transportation.
Would definitely recommend this hostel.
